The Lungau is a well-guarded secret amongst anglers with it’s idyllic and peaceful landscape providing the perfect setting for the sport of fishing. Clear mountain waters, broad alpine valley and clean streams make an ideal habitat for native fish.

Quad Bike Hire
Many of the outdoor centres and activity parks offer quad bike riding. The place to go for private Quad Bike hire is in Göriach. Quadverleih Rottensteiner offer a range of rental options and the quads will carry up to 2 passengers.
Drivers must have a valid driving licence and passengers must be over 12 years of age. All participants must wear a helmet which is provided free of charge with hire. Bookings must be made in advance.

Silver Mine in Ramingstein
A visit to the silver mine in Ramingstein will give you an insight into over 200 years history of silver mining in the Lungau. Tours are available by prior registration. Helmets and lamps provided.

Tennis
Indoor and outdoor tennis courts can be found in St Michael, along with the newly opened s’9erle with bowling lanes.
