Horse Riding, Carriage- and Sleigh Rides
The beautiful alpine countryside in the Lungau is ideal for equestrian adventures with everything from leisurely carriage rides through the countryside to alpine treks in the mountains and wonderful sleigh rides through the crisp winter snow.
Numerous activities are available throughout the valley for both the beginner and more experienced rides and include pony trekking and guided trail rides, riding lessons and instruction, carriage rides and horse drawn sleigh rides.
PonyAlm and Pferdezentrum Katschberg
The most popular and also local place can be found on Katschberg, around 10 minutes drive from the accommodation. The Alpines Pferdezentrum and Pony Alm offer something for everyone all year round, including winter and summer carriage rides, and are a good source for further information.
