St Michael can be found in the middle of the High Tauern mountains at an altitude of approximately 1100m and approximately 100km south of Salzburg, 75km north of Villach. The beautiful bowl of mountains provides the perfect landscape for year round sports and outdoor activities with walking, hiking and mountain biking in the warmer months. In the snow-sure winter the Lungau is a skiers paradise with much choice for piste, off-piste, ski touring, cross country and many more snow sports.

The accommodation is ideally positioned less than 5 minutes drive from the A10 Autobahn and easily accessible by bus and train. The central location and motorway access is perfect for sight seeing enthusiasts whether journeying around the valley or taking day trips further afield to historical landmarks such as Salzburg or Vienna.

Apartment Speiereck in Haus Bellevue is self-contained with own entrance, utilities and facilities including a private balcony with southerly aspect, panoramic views and furnished for outdoor dining.

The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped to meet self-catering needs and the living accommodation is  tastefully furnished, extremely well maintained and fitted with the comforts of a home.

An BBQ/picnic area, sunny garden and separate secure play area accompanies the accommodation and is at your personal disposal.

The apartment can be reserved with a choice of two room options: as either a one bedroom, one bathroom accommodation catering for 1 to 6 people, or with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for 2 to 8 people.

In addition to the private balcony, guests of Apartment Speiereck can enjoy their own grill/picnic area set in a sunny location with views of the famous Sleeping Giant mountain range.

The area is equipped with a heavy picnic style bench set on a decking platform with kettle-grill available and at your own disposal.

The accompanying garden area is perfect for outdoor games or lounging in the sun and within easy reach of the apartment.  Sunloungers, reclining sun chairs and deck chairs are provided.

For our younger guests an additional fenced and secure play area is located directly by the apartment entrance, equipped with a swing and climbing frame for your children's pleasure.

A private guest car park can be found at the property border within 30 meters of the apartment entrance.

Apartment Speiereck is self-contained with own facilities and entrance area including shoe racks, entrance bench, coat rack and a boot rack. Thoughtfully equipped, the accommodation features many home comforts to support an easy self-catering vacation.

Quad bikes can also be rented and around the valley there are many children's groups providing activities and programs specifically for younger visitors, also water parks, tennis, bowling, Llama trecking and horse riding, horse drawn carriages, steam train rides, wild life and adventure parks, Golf for all ages and abilities, fishing lakes and rivers and so much more.

The Lungau in winter presents all kinds of holiday opportunities. The snow-sure valley is a perfect host for all types of winter sports and activities with extensive ski and snowboarding options.

There are four ski areas within the valley offering over 300km of piste and much opportunity for off-piste. 150km of cross country ski Trails and also dedicated skating tracks can be found stretching throughout the region.

Ski touring is hugely popular and the seven sided valley provides the ideal landscape for deep powder free riding. There is an extensive network of winter hiking paths along with snow shoe routes and self-guided tours for the more adventurous.

Further activities include ice skating, tobogganing and curling. Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride or even test out your winter driving skills at one of the dedicated winter driving tracks in the area.
