Golf Club Lungau

Embedded in the heart of the valley between St Michael and St Margarethen, the Golfclub Lungau enjoys a most idyllic location. Stretching along the River Mur the fantastic 18 hole course has been harmoniously designed to integrate perfectly into the countryside. Level fairways and natural hazards promise pure golfing enjoyment at 1,050m above sea level. The course is justifiably regarded as one of the most beautiful and demanding in the province.
For rookies and ambitions short-game golfers there is a 9-hole course, lovingly designed and suitably challenging.
The Club also features a 250m long driving range went 30 tees 10 of which are covered in case of inclement weather, and also a practice area for chipping, pitching, putting and bunker work.
A number of golfing options are available from lessons, short courses and children-specific activities.
On site you can find a well-equipped golf shop, a golf simulator and an excellent restaurant aptly named the 19er.
Not just for golfers, the restaurant is well positioned to provide a welcome break for those walking or riding along the Murradweg. The menu is varied and highly recommendable, offering everything from coffee and ice cream to wine and schnitzel.
The Golfclub Lungau is located less than 10 minutes drive away and is very easy to reach.
From mid-March until the end of the winter season, there is an option to purchase a half day SkiLungo pass and receive a voucher for a round of Golf and the Lungau Golf Club.
The Ski and Golf Combi-card costs around €40,- and can be purchased from any lift station office.
