Free Ski Bus

The Lungau ski bus service runs every hour and half hour between the hours of 8am and 6pm during the winter season. The buses cater to the entire region and provide transport to Grosseck-Speiereck, Aineck in St Margareth and Katschberg centre, Fanningberg and Obertauern.

The service is free to all alpine winter sports participants in possession of a valid ski pass - your ski pass also serves as your bus pass. Skiers who have not yet purchased a pass but are using the bus service to travel to an area and purchase a pass are entitled to their first ride free of charge.

The free service is not available to cross country skiers who have only a trail ticket and not an alpine ski pass. An alternative combo trail ticket is available which includes a 7 day trail pass and free use of public transport to access the trails. The combo ticket can be purchased directly from any of the bus drivers.
